Chocolate Protein Oat Shake with Agave

This is my breakfast when I am in a hurry. Just mix the ingredients, blend and out the door!  By using agave instead of sugar my energy levels stay steady until lunch and I don’t feel as hungry. Plus by using xagave with inulin I save half the calories
Ingredients:
  • 4 to 6 oz. milk (nonfat, 1% or 2%)
  • 1 to 2 cubes of ice
  • 1 to 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
  • Xagave chocolate syrup to taste (about 3 Tbl.)
  • 2 Tbl. rolled oats
Steps:
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and turn on
high or “liquefy”.
Options:
Add a 1/2 banana for a Banana Chocolate Protein Oat Shake.

Whey protein isolate is the best source of protein. It is a product that is free from fat. Besides building muscles, whey protein isolate is also beneficial for boosting the immune system.
