
Chef Shawn Bucher is the author of the First Timer’s series of how-to-cook books. He holds business degrees and certificates in Culinary arts, Hospitality & Tourism management, Business, Accounting and Professional sales. He has worked in most aspects of the foodservice industry as a chef, Trainer, Teacher and Manager for restaurants, arenas and hotels for over 12 years. He is a member of The American Culinary Federation, The International Foodservice Service Executives Association and holds various certifications through these and other groups. Shawn teaches groups and individuals to cook as well as professionaly teaching as a Chef Instructor for The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.
