Strawberry Ice Cream with Almond Milk

Here is another recipe that we have been sampling at our Roadshows! We made this recipe with fresh almond milk that we blended ourselves.  If you have a good blender you can do it this way as well, or you can just add pre-packaged almond milk. This recipe does not contain dairy or processed sugar and therefore contains about half the calories of traditional recipes!!

Almond Milk Ingredients:

  • 4 oz almonds
  • 4 oz water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Almond Milk Steps:

Blend on high speed for thirty seconds

Ice Cream Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups ice
  • 6 oz almond milk
  • 3.5 oz Xagave

Ice Cream Steps:

Blend all ingredients in your blender on medium high speed for 1 minute or until the mixture solidifies.  You can enjoy immediately! If you prefer your ice cream harder and not soft serve, place in the freezer for 1 hour. This recipe will keep in your freezer for up to 1 week.

  1. I love this recipe! This ice cream is the reason I bought Xagave! It’s delicious and healthy! So, when my little one asks for ice cream, I don’t mind whipping up this easy recipe. Although, Its texture is more of a smoothie than an ice cream.
